Hello there lovelies!
Just a quick post to let you all know that the next Craft Night In will be on the 31st of July at Cafe 21 in cheltenham 7-9.
For those creative types who dont know where Cafe 51 is here are some simple instructions (i highlight the simple!)
if you are on the main highstreet head towards the strand end....where argos, bella italia, the hogs head and ymca charity shop are.
walk past the ymca charity shop (with it on your left.)
walk past the funeral directors (with it on your left.)
Cafe 51 is next to the hair dressers which you should see by now, if you get to The Vine you have gone to far!
Hope to see you there!!

Its this time allready!??

Hello lovely craftsters,
how have you been doing?
Terribly sorry for our shocking presence here at Craft Night In, no excuse other than we've been busy at the shop. Rest assured however that we will be more on the ball from this day!
The next Craft Night In is booked for the 26th of June 7-9 (same time) at Cafe 51 (same place).
As is typical when you need something to work...we are experiencing trouble with a key piece of technology, namely our scanner! Which means that we can't scan in a map of where the cafe is but if you are local to cheltenham, Cafe 51 is on the highstreet and is very close to The Swan, The Strand and The Vine (three rather lovely drinking establishments). Basically if you keep heading down the highstreet going past the Beechwood arcade, past Iceland, past the Hogshead, past the ymca charity shop and past the funeral parlour you will see cafe 51 on your left.
As usual if your thinking of coming along just bring something you've been working on with you, i think I'm going to bring along a load of dustbunnies to sew up....and probably my mum as shes up visiting and always willing to have a play with some needles and threads!!
hopefully see you there.

The first ever Craft Night In...

Hello Lovelies!!
Well the first Craft Night In was quite a success if i do say so myself...there were some rather lovely and talented people there, displaying a wide range of wonderful skills!!
Check out this rather lovely creation...i like her flower.
This piece of fabric art is made by the fair hands of the lady who made the elephant up top.
i can not believe that i didn't know about this book...if i remember rightly it was called abusive cross stitch or something like that...I've probably gotten it all wrong but i was in a daze you see....for i (under the excellent tutelage of vicki) managed to make a granny square...and it was only slightly wonky!! See....look at it...its beautiful!!
And here are vicki's...which she managed to make it the time it took me to make my small but perfectly formed one! Wow!! does that lady know how to yield a hook!!
All of these lovely photos are taken by vicki, because i was rubbish and forgot my camera (no surprise there!), shes a lovely lady so go and say hi!

Soooo....if you were thinking 'hmmm should i go...i wont know any of these people and they might think I'm strange or not like what I'm making...' (because i thought things a bit like that don't be scared! its great fun and everyone is lovely!
the next one is on the 26th of there or be square??
